About Me
Hi, I'm Sara! I recently moved to Pennsylvania in June, 2011 after living 28 years in Reno, Nevada. I was a teacher at a local high school there for 5 years, where I taught, Pre-Algebra, Geometry and Algebra 2. I love being in the classroom... however, my sweet husband (Chris) decided that he wants to be a doctor so we are here doing residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the Hershey Medical Center. As a result, I am staying home for a few years to try and provide some stability in my boys' lives as their daddy works 80+ hours a week...and I love it. But my passion for Math and teaching is still there and so I want to help young people (and old people) learn to love it too. (You can read more about my philosophy on math and tutoring here.)
As I said, I have two little guys and they are full of energy and mischief! Tracen (5) loves basketball and trains. He wants to be an NBA player one day and so he practices regularly. I'm blown away at his dedication! Logan (3) loves food and super heroes! He thinks he is the Hulk and is stronger than anything you can put in front of him. Needless to say...life is full of great things and we are happy to be here in Pennsylvania!
